The Water-per-click shop: next pump first, auras last, pets in the leftover slots.

Pumps Guide

Pumps are the buy that actually drains lakes in +1 Drain Water Per Click. Wrestling Elephant Studio’s free Roblox incremental, live since 25 July 2026 on six-player servers, lets you train Water with left-click. A pump multiplies that click. Pets multiply too, but a good pump outruns a mediocre hatch. This page is the shop order so the pets guide does not steal your Cash.

This wiki does not invent pump model names. Public guides never published a full catalog. You only need two labels: the starter pump you spawn with, and the current best purchasable pump your Cash can reach. Every time the price is green, buy it.

Where to buy

Two doors, same catalog:

  • The Pumps stand in the hub.
  • The Pumps button on the HUD, so you can buy mid-lake without a walk.

Controls lists the HUD button next to the ticket icon and Shop warp. If the panel will not open, another HUD window is covering it. Close codes after Claim.

Cash is the currency. You earn Cash by selling fish or by displaying them in an aquarium for income per minute. Mutations change both numbers: Gold 2x, Diamond 5x, Venom 10x, Hole 20x. Farm those on the weather events page, then spend the spike on a pump, not on a random egg.

Why pumps beat pets for training

Pets hatch from eggs and only work in equipped slots. They look loud in screenshots. They still sit on top of the pump multiplier. If you hatch first, you train slowly, earn slowly, and delay the pump that would have made every later hatch better. Code pets are the exception because they are free: redeem Fixed1 (Gold Cthulhu), Fixed2 (rare pet), and WaterHappy (random pet) from the codes hub, equip them, then go buy a pump with Cash.

Auras are the trap next to the pump stand. They add a minor Water training boost and some Cash. They feel like progress. They are endgame garnish. Buy an aura with leftover Cash after the current pump, a needed backpack level, and a display stand if Hole fish have nowhere to sit. Gameplay footage from August 2026 even shows players grabbing an aura while still too poor for real upgrades — skip that detour.

Cheap upgrades that support pumps

Three +1 purchases sit beside the pump loop:

  • Backpack space — more fish per drain trip, fewer Shop warps, more Cash per hour to feed the next pump.
  • Walk speed — shorter hub trips.
  • Display stand space — more aquarium slots so mutated fish print Cash while you train.

Tap a level when you walk past. Do not dump a pump stack into ten walk-speed levels. How to drain explains when a full backpack should warp instead of pushing the next pool.

Rebirth and the pump clock

A rebirth resets Water to 0 for permanent Water and Cash multipliers. August 2026 footage showed the Rebirth prompt around Water level 25. After you press it, the permanent Water multiplier still needs a pump to matter. Rebirth with a starter pump and you rebuild slowly. Rebirth after a pump buy and pads feel short.

Do not rebirth in the middle of a Black Hole window. Do not rebirth to “afford” a pump you could have bought by selling one Hole fish. The aquarium keeps that fish printing if you display it instead.

A spend order you can reuse

  1. Redeem codes. Equip free pets.
  2. Stand on a pad. Train Water. Drain a pool. Sell commons.
  3. Open Pumps. Buy if Cash covers the next one.
  4. If the backpack cut a drain short, buy +1 backpack.
  5. If Hole or Venom has no stand, buy display space.
  6. Hatch an egg only if a slot is empty or a hatch clearly beats the worst equipped pet.
  7. Auras last.

Getting started is this order for hour one. The tools planner is the same order for a 20-minute login. The tier list ranks pets and mutations around this shop, not instead of it.

Six-player lobbies look rich when they wear a flashy pet on a starter pump. They train slow. Be the boring account: current pump, full slots, Hole in a tank, then click. The lake empties either way, but only one of those loadouts buys the next pump on time.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Where do I buy pumps?

Hub stand or the HUD Pumps button. Same catalog. Controls shows the HUD.

Should I buy pets or a pump first?

Pump first with Cash. Equip free code pets from the codes hub. Hatch eggs only after the next pump is bought.

Are auras worth it early?

No. They are a minor Water training boost. Buy them with leftover Cash after pumps, backpack, and display space.

Do pumps reset on rebirth?

Published notes do not list pumps as part of the Water reset. The confirmed reset is Water to 0. Plan the rebuild on rebirths.

How do I afford the next pump faster?

Sell commons, display Hole and Venom, hunt weather events, and stop hatching low-rarity eggs.

Is there a named pump tier list?

Not in public notes. Use starter versus current best purchasable. Rank pets separately on the pets tier list.
